Molly and Bill crouched behind a picket fence, surveying the colorful lawn. Balloons in primary shades bobbed merrily as children's squeals of delight carried on the warm summer breeze. They pulled out some balloons of their own and tossed them around, joining in the spontaneous revelry. Just as planned, Molly and Bill mingled into the crowd, moving toward the gift table unnoticed. They grabbed a few packages conveniently placed near the edge. With a subtle gesture, they exchanged them for look-alike fake gifts Bill had whipped up earlier. "Aren't you two a little old to be playing games?" a nearby parent asked. Molly blinked innocently. "Oh, not at all!" she said brightly. "It's never too late to embrace the carefree joy of youth!" The parent nodded, a bit bewildered, then went back to chattering with the other guests. Bill popped the trunk of the rented party van.
