A dozen children sat cross-legged in a circle, watching the clown inflate a purple balloon. He twisted it into a poodle and presented it to a little girl. Bill whispered, “We can’t take the presents in front of the children.” Molly whispered back, “Then distract them.” “With what?” “You’re the magician.” “I’m a thief.” “Same hands.
