Bill sauntered into the dingy motel room where Molly was furiously sketching on a napkin, her pencil flying across the page. "So, the boss wants us to take on a new job," he said, leaning against the doorway. "I'm all for it, but kidnapping kids? I thought we were in the art business." Molly raised an eyebrow, not looking up from her work. "Kidnapping?" She chuckled as she revealed the sketch. "No, Bill. We're not interested in the kids - it's the presents. The boss wants us to make a clean getaway to the tune of a million-dollar-christening." "Ah, newborn wealth." Bill clapped his hands. "I like it, but those sticky-fingered kids ain't gonna let us slide easily. This place'll be chock-full of cameras and security." "Not to worry," Molly replied, rolling up her napkin. "We dress as clowns. Nobody suspects a clown, right? And I've always wanted to work with a balloon animal twisty. Plus, we'll need you to distract the adults, like you did at the music store." "Gotcha," laughed Bill. "Father Nathaniel singing 'Achy Breaky Heart' – they'll be in stitches." He gave a mock impersonation of a twangy, off-key voice. "Now, which one's the security blind spot?" Molly pointed to a spot behind a bouncy castle. "Perfect spot to shove those bounties in our van. With a confetti cannon as a final flourish for good measure." "Sounds like a party to me," Bill grinned, rubbing his hands together. "You know this is a big score, right, Molly? The boss might have bigger plans ahead for us." "Wink-wink." She nudged him, her eyes twinkling. "But first, let's make sure not to be the kid who steals all the cake, then throws up in the corner. We'll do this right. Now, any preference for which clown pantomime you want to perform on the seven-foot stage?" Bill slapped his knee. "Deadpan mime. I'll blow minds." He bolted out of the room, mumbling the opening line. "Mol-ee, I'm bored." Molly smirked, got back to her sketch, and silently agreed their partnership was unstoppable.
