As Molly peered over the edge of the roof, she noticed a brightly-lit house with balloons and streamers swaying invitingly in the wind. Below her, Bill cautiously slipped on a pair of gloves and pulled down the brim of his hat. "Ready?" Molly asked. "I was born ready," Bill replied confidently. "Let's get this show on the road." Together, they climbed down and entered the party through an open window, carelessly decorated with stuffed animals and streamers. The room was packed with families and children wearing colorful party hats and blowing up balloons. The first thing Molly noticed was the table loaded with presents, all wrapped up bright red and green paper and adorned with generous bows. "Alright, just like old times," she whispered to Bill. "Ready for the caper, are you?" "Alright, alright," Bill responded. "Less talk, more grab and go." Molly walked over to the table and picked up a large package wrapped in bright red ribbons. "Oh, what have we got here?" she asked coyly. "The grandest present of the night? The best for Molly and Bill?" Bill lifted up a present adorned with colorful balloons, squeezing it to check for any potential surprises. Assured by its harmless contents, he calmly carried it to Molly's side. "Okay, now we have two presents, now we have to disappear from the party without getting caught?" he said, his voice low and determined. Molly grinned playfully. "Easy as pie. We'll just put on a show, my dear gentleman, while we make our grand exit." With a sly wink, she reached into her bag and produced a large, red, polka-dotted clown nose. "Oh, what fun." Bill rolled his eyes openly before donning his own red clown nose from Molly's bag. The cheerful burst of giggles that erupted from the children and parents delighted the thieves as they held their presents, grinning wider than their noses deserved. "Here's to a night to remember!" Molly said amidst the playful laughter. The pair walked purposefully through the crowd, stopping occasionally to interact with another unsuspecting guest. Through each mirthful conversation, they synchronized their movements like a well-oiled machine, all while wearing their trigger-happy clown noses. No one suspected a thing, much less that a daring heist was taking place right under their noses... until a child called out. "Hey, hey, what's going on with their noses?" he exclaimed. Molly and Bill paused as the giggling conspiracy threatened to disintegrate. But instead of retreating, Molly pointed at Bill's nose and shouted, "Bill has a cold! And I'm the nurse helping him cheer up!" The crowd applauded the wonderful display of clownery, and Molly and Bill continued their walk, smiling confidently with their stolen goods and red noses intact. "Where to now?" Bill whispered, still panting with laughter. "Should we make a bold move and head home?" Molly suggested, still clutching her bulging present. "Pick a spot, your Highness," he retorted, unable to keep the grin off his face. — Their adventure complete and money countering began: they emptied their loot onto the living room floor and sorted the presents into different piles. "Wow," Molly remarked, wide-eyed and impressed, "we didn't even know how much we would be stealing!" "Honestly," Bill nodded, "you and I, we know how to make a festive occasion, and get presents we deserve." He stretched back against the couch, grunting. As the two of them prepared to revel in their spoils, the doorbell rang, stealing their anticipation and leaving them dumbstruck. Slowly, they set their presents aside, waiting for the visitor who sought company. "What now?" Molly questioned softly. "Just what we needed after an epic heist," Bill announced dramatically, staring at the door with anticipation. "Gotta watch it out, s sweethearts." A faint smile hovered on his lips, as his eyes narrowed in mischief.
