"You're telling me, that the only way into the place is through the front door?" Molly scoffed, eyeing the colorful balloons and streamers decorating the party venue. "What kind of amateur security setup is this?" Bill shrugged, adjusting his fedora. "Apparently the parents are pretty lax. Figured it'd be an easy in-and-out job for us." Molly snorted derisively. "Well, I'm not about to stroll right up there and start swiping gifts from right under their noses. That's suicide for our reputation." "Oh c'mon, don't be such a scaredy-cat," Bill chided. "We've pulled off much riskier heists before. This'll be a piece of cake!" "Easy for you to say, Mr. Confidence Man," Molly retorted. "I'll have you know I have a lot riding on this score. If I don't come back with a full haul, my creditors will be breathing down my neck again." Bill placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Hey now, you know I've always got your back. We're in this together, come what may." He winked roguishly. "Besides, I picked up a new set of lockpicks that I'm just itching to break in. Think of it as a shakedown run." Molly rolled her eyes but allowed herself a smirk. "You and your damn lockpicks. Fine, let's get this over with before I change my mind." She straightened her coat and smoothed her hair back. "I'll distract the guests with a bit of sleight of hand while you sneak in and grab the goods. Think you can handle that, partner?" "You know I can, baby," Bill drawled. "Just give the signal and watch me work my magic. We'll be out of here in no time with a wagonload of booty." "Booty, is it? My my, so crass!" Molly giggled despite herself. "Alright, you win this round. But you better not make a mess of things or I'll never let you live it down." She cracked her knuckles and adjusted her gloves before marching determinedly towards the entrance. "Wish me luck, lover boy. Looks like I'll need it if I'm going to charm the pants off of these kiddies long enough for you to pull off this crazy stunt of yours!" With a parting
