You are an expert novel writer in the cozy mystery genre. Write a scene of about 200 words, with dialogue between two characters. The dialogue should be unattributed, meaning the speaker is not explicitly mentioned. The scene should be set in a small town bakery. Only return the story, nothing else.

The bell above the door tinkled as Lily walked into the Maple Street Bakery. The warm, yeasty aroma enveloped her like a comforting blanket. "Lily! Over here,"
called a voice from the corner
. She spotted Jenna waving from their usual booth. Lily slid in across from her friend. "Morning. Did you see the article in the Gazette? Apparently the police have no new leads in the murder case." Jenna leaned forward conspiratorially. "Well, word around town is that the police have been poking around the old mill again. Rumor has it they found some sort of evidence there." "What? Why would anyone go near that creepy place?" Lily shuddered involuntarily. The abandoned mill loomed on the outskirts of town like a crumbling mausoleum. "I know, right? But apparently they did an extensive search." Jenna lowered her voice. "Some say they found a knife with blood on it." "That's crazy!" Lily felt a chill run down her spine despite the bakery's warm interior. The murder victim had died from multiple stab wounds. Could this mean the killer had been hiding out in the old mill? She glanced around nervously at the other patrons. Whispers and furtive looks were being exchanged. It seemed word of the discovery was spreading like wildfire. Lily's mind reeled with the implications. If the police had located a potential murder weapon, it could be the break they needed to finally close the case and bring a killer to justice. But at the same time, the thought of someone lurking in that dank, decaying building was utterly chilling. What kind of person would do such a thing? As unsettling as the unsolved mystery had been for the whole town, the idea that the culprit had been living mere steps away for weeks filled Lily with a bone-deep unease she couldn't quite shake. She met Jenna's wide-eyed gaze, seeing her own shock and uneasiness mirrored back. The cozy little bakery suddenly felt suffocatingly claustrophobic, and Lily itched to get out into the open air. To breathe freely again. "I...I think I need some coffee,"
she said abruptly, standing up
. "Do you want anything?" "No thanks, I'm good,"
Jenna replied, looking equally eager to end the disturbing conversation
. As Lily moved toward the counter, she could feel dozens of eyes boring into her back, heavy with suspicion and unspoken accusation
