The bakery was warm and smelled deliciously of cinnamon and sugar. Sarah wiped down the counter as she eyed her sister Liza suspiciously. "You've got to tell me what's going on with you and Detective Novak. I know something's up between you two," Sarah pressed. "Come on, spill the beans!" Liza blushed and quickly looked away. "There's nothing to tell! We're just friends and coworkers, that's all." Sarah scoffed incredulously. "Friends who go on late night stakeouts together? Please.
