"Almost show time, eh Bill?" she quipped, glancing over at her partner sprawled on the ratty sofa. Bill yawned and stretched languidly, cracking his knuckles. "Aye, should be a piece of cake. Kids, a bunch of whiny brats, won't even know what hit 'em." Molly chuckled dryly. "Heh, I almost feel bad for the little tykes. Almost." She reached into a drawer and withdrew a handful of black ski masks, tossing one to Bill. "Here, try not to get your face covered in cake this time." "Hah! Funny," he grumbled, catching it and stuffing it in his pocket. "And I'm telling ya, that was your fault for giving me the wrong size." "I thought you were the master of disguise!" She smirked impishly, adjusting her own mask. The dark fabric contrasted starkly with her bright blue eyes and ruby lips. Bill snorted derisively. "Bah. I'm the master of getting the job done. You just keep watch and try not to shoot yourself this time." "You're never going to let me forget that, are you?" Molly groused, hefting a duffle bag. "For the record, I was aiming for you!" "Oh sure, and I was aiming for the ceiling, but I can't be expected to be a perfect shot after you nearly blinded me with glitter, you daft wench!" "And you nearly deafened me with your caterwauling!" They glowered at each other, faces flushed beneath their masks. The animosity simmered between them, but underneath that, the unmistakable spark of something else, the tension and electricity that had always drawn them together like moths to a flame. "Aw, you two, you're adorable when you fight!" a lilting female voice suddenly interrupted. Molly whirled around to see her sister Jenna saunter into the room, all voluptuous curves poured into a skintight catsuit.
