Molly peered out the car window at the brightly decorated house down the street. "Alright, it's go time. The party's in full swing." Bill popped open the glove compartment, pulling out a ski mask and a sleek black pistol. He slapped the mask over his face, checked the clip, and holstered the gun under his jacket with a grin. "Time to teach these little brats a lesson about sharing. Let's hit it!" The duo crept up the sidewalk and burst through the front door in a spray of glittery streamers. A dozen startled children screamed as Bill bellowed, "Nobody move! This is a stick-up!" Molly made a beeline for the huge pile of gifts, shoving wrapped boxes into a duffel bag. "Forget the candy, grab the loot!" A little girl burst into tears. "You can't take my pony!" Bill snatched it up anyway and tossed it to Molly. "No, no, no! It's my birthday present from Daddy!" the girl wailed as her mother rushed over, snatching Molly's arm. "Stop right there, you thieves!" "Let go of me, you crazy broad!" Molly shoved her hard, sending the woman crashing into a table stacked with presents. Toys and wrapping paper went flying everywhere as the kids began wailing and running in all directions. "Aw shit, this ain't worth it!" Bill yelled over the commotion, grabbing Molly's free hand and yanking her toward the door. They sprinted out into the yard and leapt into their getaway car, peeling off with a screech of tires and the wail of sirens fast approaching. "What a disaster!" Molly panted, dumping a pile of ripped and smashed gifts onto the back seat. "I can't believe I got caught by some hysterical housewife. You'd think I would have learned after last time." Bill shook his head ruefully as he whipped the wheel, careening around the corner. "Yeah, well, guess we'll just have to find another way to fund our retirement, eh? Maybe we ought to get day jobs for a change."
