The sounds of children laughing and music playing drifted out to them. Molly smirked as she picked the lock with nimble fingers. "Piece of cake, just like every other party we've hit. Kids are too busy stuffing their faces to notice anything." The door swung open and the duo slipped inside, shutting it behind them. They found themselves in the darkened kitchen. "What's the plan, boss?" Bill whispered. "Should I keep watch by the front while you grab the goods?" "Nah, I've got a better idea," Molly grinned evilly. "We'll sneak into the living room, wait for the perfect moment, then make a mad dash to scoop up all the gifts before they even know what hit 'em. Nice and quick, in and out, just how I like it." Wait for my signal, then move like the wind. And don't even think about pocketing any for yourself, got it?" "Would I do a thing like that? I'm hurt you'd even suggest it," Bill feigned an injury to his chest. "I'm a professional, just like you." Molly snorted derisively before nodding to him. On silent feet, they advanced to the edge of the living room where a dozen giggling children chased each other around while adults looked on in amusement. The thieves exchanged a knowing look, then sprang into action with lightning speed. "Run, Bill, run!" Molly yelled gleefully as she pounced on the nearest pile of presents. "What the hey? Grab those, Bill!" A child's shocked cry rang out as Bill snatched up a sack and sprinted for the door. "Stop them! Thieves!"
