"What is it this time?" Bill sighed. "A bank vault? The mayor's safehouse?" Molly chuckled and leaned in close, her auburn hair falling over one eye. "No, even better. A children's birthday party." Bill froze and slowly looked up at her, his brow furrowed. "Excuse me?" "You heard me," Molly said gleefully. "It's perfect! The parents will be distracted, the brats will be running around like maniacs. We can sneak in, grab all the wrapped presents, and slip away before they even notice." Bill shook his head vehemently. "No. Absolutely not. I don't steal from kids, Molly. It's just not right." Molly pouted and crossed her arms. "Aw, c'mon, Bill. It'll be a piece of cake! And those presents are just sitting there, waiting to be swiped. It's like they're begging to be stolen!" Bill narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "How do you even know about this party?" A faint blush colored Molly's cheeks. "Well... I might have been at the toy store earlier and overheard the parents chatting. And I may have gotten a glimpse of the invitation with the details. Purely by accident, of course." Bill pinched the bridge of his nose, already feeling a migraine coming on. Dealing with Molly was always a headache, but he had to admit, the idea was tempting.
