Bill crouched beside her, binoculars pressed to his eyes. "Yep, all the kiddies seem to be occupied with pony rides and face painting. Now's our chance to swipe those presents." "How do you want to play this?" Molly asked, readying her lock picking tools. Bill grinned mischievously. "Simple - we wait for the parents to get distracted with cake and punch, then slip in the back door and grab as much loot as we can carry in two minutes flat." "Beautifully devious," Molly purred appreciatively. "I love the way your twisted little criminal mind works." "You know you do," Bill winked flirtatiously before his face turned serious. "But first - no matter what happens, we stick together, got it? I don't want you getting lost or cornered by the rugrats." "Aww, you care," Molly cooed in mock sweetness. "I knew there was a heart beating beneath all that avarice and ill-intent." Bill scoffed but there was a fondness in his eyes. "Yeah, well, keep that heart of yours from getting busted up. I've grown rather attached to you and your thieving skills over the years." "I feel the same way about you, you silver-tongued rogue." Molly booped him on the nose playfully before her expression hardened with focus. "Alright, time's wasting. Let's go make some Christmas magic of our own, shall we?" "Merry looting," Bill quipped with a rakish smirk. They high fived, then crept off to begin their covert operation, moving swiftly and silently through the shadows towards their glittering prize - an untold trove of toys, just begging to be pilfered.
